    Zurich, Switzerland, March 14th, 2005
Natalie Dietrich and myself performing at The Music Conservatory in Zurich, Switzerland on March 14th, 2005. Natalie was studying with me at Berklee College of Music in Boston and had arranged for us to perform at the conservatory where she was from. We had a great time rehearsing at Berklee during the semester and the concert turned out very well. Most of the compositions are my originals including Corina and Werner which I wrote for Natalie’s parents. The hall was beautiful. You can tell by the recording, the sound was extremely live.

Mallets in Motion is the name of the vibe and marimba duo. The blending of the vibes and marimba makes for a wonderful sound. Duo playing is my favorite format for playing. The communication and interaction is so direct and responsive with two players versus a group.
